Canadian actress who is best known for playing Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. In 2019, she started starring in CBSs Blood & Treasure. Other roles include Earthstorm from 2006 and The Perfect Neighbor, which she appeared on in 2005. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada the daughter of Peter Silk an academic and his wife Ilkay an actress producer playwright educator and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Annas initial memories of her included going to rehearsals of plays and seeing her mother working. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was young. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at the very least two of its early productions, Seven Menus & The Kitchen. In 2009, she married Seth Cooperman. They have two sons named Samuel as well as Levi. The year 2009 was the first time Bo Dennis played the principal part of a succubus on the Canadian television show Lost Girl. The character she played Bo as well as Lauren as same-sex lovers in Lost Girl was named one of the show's Favorite TV Couples by CNN and declared The Top TV Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk attracted a huge online audience due to the acclaim of their show.
