Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films typically horror films and martial arts. Similar with The Cinema Snob in that she loves dumb action films. Her reviews started at the end of 2009 and, after she gained some fame (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of the family at Channel Awesome. She remained participant on the website from January until the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She reviews horrible films aimed at children, or RiffTrax shows as well as occasionally, she reviews adult comedy (including Baywatch (2017)). She started reviewing movies late in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to be part of the reviewing community. She has made numerous appearances in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
